Description

The Nanrobot D6+ features full-sized 10-inch pneumatic off-road tires that offer great ride comfort, traction and rolling efficiency for long rides with enhanced stability to give you a smooth driving experience.  It comes with extremely powerful 2 x 1000W motors that can be used in either single or dual mode.

The Nanrobot D6+ is a high-performance dual-motor, dual suspension electric scooter that brings off-road performance into the urban environment.  The D6+ features front and rear hydraulic disc brakes that provide solid stopping power. The suspension arms are propped up by 2 spring shock absorbers for that extra added comfort.

Switchable between a single drive and a dual-motor drive, the Nanrobot D6+ allows the rider to switch between 2 modes: the ECO mode and the TURBO mode. Riding on ECO single motor mode will extend the range of the scooter by 3X compared to the TURBO dual-motor option.

If you want a fast electric scooter with a super long range and one that has well thought out safety features, the new Nanrobot D6+ is an excellent choice.

Handles like a dream

The D6+ is a beast and handles like a dream. The suspension and tires make traveling on this scooter like riding on a cloud. I have one with and one without the hydraulic breaks, do yourself a favor and order the one with. After riding each I've decided to order hydraulic breaks for the one without. The different power setting make it great for riding in any environment. The duel 1000w motors give this thing plenty of power and with me being 195lbs I've seen 43-44mph more than once while on a flat road. I've taken it as high as 45-46 mph going down hill and sustain 35-38 mph going uphill depending on the grade. Spes calim the scooter can see a range of 44-46 miles. While I never ride in the lowest eco mode setting I do believe it's possible. I always push the scooter to it's upper limits (30-40 mph constant) and the avg ride is 26-28 miles. I have yet to end a trip with a voltage lower than 46v. The build quality and performance easily compare to other scooters costing several hundreds of dollars more. Both Nanrobot scooters I own have by far exceeded my expectations in all aspects. Road Runner Scooters and their customer service is by far one of the best companies I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Now with all the positive things said there are a few things I don't like. The headlight is great for long distance but offer no flood pattern (the light beam is to focused). In a dark environment the light is useless for anything off on the side of the road. I use a Nitecore BR25 handlebar mounted light and that more than makes up for the headlight issues. The blinkers are a nice feature but I often find myself forgetting to turn them off, some kind of indication that they're on would be nice. Last but not least the kickstand is a little short causing the scooter to lean over further than my other scooters. While I didn't think it's enough lean to cause stability issues it is more than I'm use to. The kickstand also doesn't lock in the down position strong so parking the scooter nose down on a hill may cause it fall. The positives of the scooter by far outweigh the negatives hence the 5☆ rating. The only real proformance issue is the headlight and as with any lower mounted headlight a handlebar mounted light will always be needed.

Awesome scooter! with a few minor gripes

This is an awesome scooter with lots of power and range! There are a few reasons that I removed 1 star, but they are pretty minor. First, the kickstand is too short or the wrong type because the scooter leans over way too far - one tap and it will fall over. Second, the headlight/horn module rattles like crazy...I had to remove the outter cage to keep it from rattling. Third, the battery voltage meter had a plastic film over it (like when you buy something new you peel off the film?)...so I peeled it off and left a super sticky residue on the screen that just collects dirt. And finally, the stem has a bit of flex when you gun the accelerator...I wish it didn't do that. But as you can see, none of these issues relate to the performance of the scooter. It works great and it's such a smooth ride due to the shocks. The different drive modes are nice to control your speed when you are around other pedestrians. Next scooter purchase will definitely be from this same company.

Killer with a few little improvements that could help

Amazing amazing amazing. So well built. This thing feel indestructible and is very fast with plenty of torque on tap. Get the seat, your legs do get tired and being able to sit every now and then and also traveling faster feels safer. I do have issues adjusting these brakes though they are really finicky and hard to adjust. Right now with fresh pads even when putting the brakes on lightly it’s locking up I can’t seem to adjust to where I’m stoked. Maybe some advice here?

Also extremely twitchy accelerator. You have to change speed modes all the time to adjust acceleration when entering tight spaces. I think nanrobot should add a twist throttle option as well, or adjust the acceleration curve somehow. It’s just all on or all off, it needs to be way smoother thus my twist throttle suggestion to have more control over acceleration curve.

Star deducted for acceleration curve and time needed to adjust brakes and even then very hard to adjust to taste. (which you can get used to but first time riders hate) Otherwise a beast.
