RoadRunner Scooters remains fully operational and business continues as usual. The company will continue to design, sell, and support its lineup of premium electric scooters, along with providing ongoing access to parts, service, warranties, and customer support.

Restructuring in Response to Industry and Economic Pressures

Like many U.S. manufacturers, RoadRunner has faced ongoing challenges tied to global tariffs, inflation, and economic uncertainty across the electric vehicle sector. These pressures, combined with the capital-intensive nature of high-performance scooter production, led the company to proactively pursue Chapter 11 reorganization.
