I have e a good bit of experience with escooters have owned three. For the price and features i’m really impressed with the RS5 max. I’ve put over 100 miles on it in a bit over a week just having fun. Very solid machine and low key. It doesn’t look like it has the power it does to draw attention. 5+ stars for me so far. I’ve asked a couple of questions and gotten responses quickly.

I am of the belief that there is always room for improvement, but you gotta start somewhere.
The machine itself is incredibly capable of anything I have thrown at it. Improvements could be made in the following areas:
-FedEx shipping is terrible - I’d rather pay for expedited shipping. Sat at my house all day waiting for the scooter to arrive and sign for it only for it to come the next day (glad I was home).
-Some competitors offer “FindMy” location services and app support. The keys are simple & effective but can be lost or the locks can be picked. Would prefer app integration for access to miles, maintenance, locking, changing the “P settings” etc.
-Steering dampener I ordered last week was “in stock” when ordered and still hasn’t shipped.
-Zero customization options from factory. Options like accent colors, grips, mirrors and other accessories are either extremely limited or non existent. IMO, You are missing out on market share because of this. Easy fix.
-Military discount- Boasting about being a US based company is one thing, supporting our veterans with a discount would take it to the next level.
Love the product, but there is still a lot of room for improvement to get to the premium level. Most should be easy fixes.

This company really knows how to make a scooter! I make battery management software (batteryutils by gobytego) and have tested tons of scooters and of all the scooters i have tested this one is the best built with quality parts! first scooter that i will never let go!!! this is a keeper!!!!

This scooter is a BLAST!! My first scooter was from a different company and I was trying to save a few dollars, but now I wish that I would’ve went with road runner from the beginning. This scooters has so much power that hill climbing is nothing, I can keep up with traffic!! I ride full power to work and still have half of battery left to make a return trip if needed, but with the fast charger I’m at full power when it’s time to return home. I love that I can remove the battery and charge it indoors while leaving the scooter locked outside, there isn’t enough office space for a scooter. I placed an order for additional parts that arrived fast without worrying about will it fit or work. The other brand I had to rely on Amazon! The rs5 is a great beginner scooter, the only thing that I don’t like is I wish that I would’ve saved a little more and went with the rs7!!!

Living in western NY I've only been able to ride twice but from my first impressions it's great. The ride is really smooth, I do have a steering damper but I had it turned all the way down and still felt really stable. I was able to push it to about 40 but when it's 35 degrees out that wind chill is no joke. So far it's great
