We design our scooters in Denver, Colorado, USA, maintain a domestic parts inventory, and support our customers long after delivery. RoadRunner scooters are built to be resilient, serviceable, and supported for the long term.
This isn’t just a warranty.
It’s how we stand behind what we build.

Warranty Coverage
All new scooters purchased from RoadRunner Scooters include a 12-month limited warranty beginning on the date of delivery.
This warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
For purposes of this policy, a manufacturing defect refers to a failure caused by how a covered component was manufactured or assembled, and does not include issues resulting from wear, misuse, improper setup, environmental exposure, or external damage.
Covered components include:
- Frame and structural components
- Motors
- Controllers
- Battery (performance and function)
- Display and electronics
Certified Refurbished scooters include a 3-month limited warranty. All refurbished sales are final and non-refundable.
This warranty is non-transferable.
If You Are Experiencing an Issue
If your scooter is not functioning properly, submit a support request and our team will guide you through the next steps.
Please include:
- Order number
- Description of the issue
- Photos and/or video
Providing complete information will help expedite diagnosis and resolution.
How Warranty Support Works
Each request begins with a diagnostic review. Our goal is to resolve issues efficiently while minimizing downtime.
Remote Diagnosis and Repair
Most issues can be resolved without returning the scooter. Our team will guide you through troubleshooting or provide replacement parts when appropriate.
Parts Replacement
If a component is determined to be defective, replacement parts may be provided along with installation instructions and access to available video guidance.
Return for Repair
If an issue cannot be resolved remotely, the scooter may require a return for service.
Return authorization is required prior to shipment.
The scooter must be shipped in its original packaging.
Do not discard the original box.
If the original packaging is unavailable, a replacement box must be purchased from RoadRunner for $150 plus shipping.
Proper packaging is required to prevent damage during transit. RoadRunner is not responsible for damage resulting from inadequate packaging.
Replacement
In limited cases, where a significant manufacturing defect is confirmed within the first 30 days of delivery, a replacement may be issued at RoadRunner’s discretion.
If a return is required as part of the replacement process, the scooter must be shipped in its original packaging.
Parts and Turnaround Time
We maintain U.S.-based parts inventory to reduce downtime and avoid international delays.

Turnaround times may vary based on diagnosis, parts availability, and service volume.
Cost Responsibility
Responsibility for shipping and related costs depends on the nature of the issue and timing.
Manufacturing Defect (Within 30 Days)
Verified manufacturing defects identified within the first 30 days of delivery are covered by RoadRunner, including applicable parts and associated shipping for the approved resolution.
Manufacturing Defect (After 30 Days)
For verified manufacturing defects identified after 30 days, customers are responsible for shipping costs related to warranty service. RoadRunner will continue to provide warranty parts and support.
Non-Defect Issues
If an issue is not determined to be a manufacturing defect, all associated costs, including parts, labor, and shipping, are the responsibility of the customer.
What Is Not Covered
- Consumable components such as brake pads, tires, and tubes
- Normal wear and tear
- Cosmetic damage that does not affect performance
Damage and Misuse
This warranty does not apply to damage or failure caused by:
- Accidents, collisions, or impact events
- Improper use or overloading
- Improper assembly, setup, or maintenance
- Exposure to extreme temperatures or environmental conditions
- Water damage or immersion
Warranty Void Conditions
This warranty is void if:
- The scooter has been modified or altered
- Unauthorized parts or upgrades are installed
- Electronic systems have been tampered with
- The battery has been improperly maintained
Built to Be Serviceable
RoadRunner scooters are designed to be maintained and repaired rather than replaced.

Important
If your scooter requires return for service or evaluation, the original packaging is required to ensure safe transport.
Do not discard the original box.
If unavailable, a replacement box must be purchased from RoadRunner for $150 plus shipping.
International and Non-Continental U.S. Orders
Scooters shipped outside the Lower 48 United States include a 6-month limited warranty.
All shipping costs related to warranty claims for these orders are the responsibility of the customer.
