*Shipping Policy*

At RoadRunner Scooters, we aim to make your shopping experience as smooth and hassle-free as possible. Below, you'll find all the details about our shipping costs, shipping insurance, delivery times, and what to expect when you place an order with us.

### Shipping Costs

- *FREE Ground Shipping: All new scooter and parts orders over $750 qualify for **free ground shipping* within the 48 contiguous United States.
- *Alaska & Hawaii*: Shipping is available to Alaska and Hawaii for an additional fee.
- *Expedited Shipping: We offer expedited shipping options for **parts orders*. However, scooter purchases cannot be expedited at this time.
- *Shipping Restrictions: We ship to most U.S. addresses, but there are a few restrictions. Please see the **Non-Deliverable Packages* section for more information.

Note: Any changes to your order must be made before 12:00 PM MST on the same day the order is placed. Modifications after this time cannot be accommodated.

### Address Accuracy

Please take extra care to ensure your shipping address is correct when placing an order. An incorrect or incomplete address can delay or even prevent delivery and can also add additional fees to your order.

- *Rerouting Fees*: If you enter an incorrect address during checkout, you will be responsible for any rerouting fees required to update the shipping address after the package has been picked up. This process includes RoadRunner Scooters manually contacting UPS to update your address and providing updated tracking information.

### Shipping Insurance

If you purchase shipping insurance through *RR's Trusted Shipping Insurance Carrier*, please note the following:

- *Address Changes*:  Any shipping address change made once the order is placed will void RoadRunner’s guarantee of replacing the item if it is lost, damaged, or stolen during transit. An additional policy will need to be purchased in order to have confirmed shipping insurance to the updated delivery address. This can not be transferred by our carrier under any circumstances. 
- *Multiple Claims*: If a customer reports two or more orders as "missing," RoadRunner reserves the right to void any future shipping insurance purchases.
- *Lost or Damaged Orders: If a **scooter, parts, or accessories* order is lost, damaged or stolen during transit, and you’ve purchased shipping insurance, we will replace the items, but we will *not issue refunds* in these cases.

#### When Shipping Insurance Applies
Shipping insurance coverage begins once your package leaves RoadRunner’s warehouse dock and is in the custody of our assigned carrier, continuing until the package is signed for and delivered to the destination entered at the time of purchase. We pay the carrier an additional fee for a signature upon ALL scooter deliveries to ensure that your package is safely delivered to an adult in your household, and their signature is obtained before the package is left. This measure is designed to protect both you as the buyer and RoadRunner as the seller.

Once the package is in the hands of our carrier, it is their responsibility to obtain the required signature, ensuring your package is delivered safely. RoadRunner will not be held liable for any packages that are signed for, regardless of who signs for them.

You will receive a tracking number via email once your order ships, and it is your responsibility to track the package and ensure someone is available to sign for it.

If you know you won’t be available to sign for your package, kindly reach out to customer support to:

a) -- Schedule a different delivery time or redirect to a different address OR
b) arrange a drop off at a local UPS certified retailer where your package or packages will be held safely until you are able to pick it up. All package releases must be accompanied with an official government pictured ID. **There will be a $50 charge incurred for this service.

### Delivery Times

- *Shipping Estimates*: When you place an order, we’ll provide an estimated shipping and delivery date based on your location. Although rare, these estimates are subject to change due to external factors that are out of our control.
- *Tracking Info*: You’ll receive tracking information via email once your order has shipped.


- *Order Cut-off Time*: Orders placed before 12:00 PM (MST) Monday through Friday will typically leave our warehouse the same day. Orders placed after 12:00 PM (MST) on Friday or over the weekend will ship on Monday.

Note: Open-box scooters may take up to 3 business days to ship and are excluded from any promotional shipping offers.

### Non-Deliverable Packages

We cannot deliver to:
- P.O. Boxes (including those in rural areas)
- USPS, FedEx, or other drop boxes
- Freight forwarding companies (e.g., NewYorkMailBox.com)
- Military addresses

If a package is returned to us as non-deliverable, you have two options:
1. We can reship the package at your cost.
2. If you choose not to have the package reshipped, you will be charged a 20% restocking fee plus applicable shipping charges. Refunds can take up to 7 business days to process.

### Why Was My Package Non-Deliverable?

A package may be deemed non-deliverable due to:
- *Incorrect or Incomplete Address*: Please ensure your address is accurate before submitting your order.
- *Refused Delivery*: If you refuse the package, you will be responsible for all shipping charges incurred, both for the original shipment and its return. These charges will be deducted from your refund along with any applicable restocking fees.
