Warranty Coverage
All RoadRunner Scooters include a one-year limited manufacturer’s warranty that covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. Warranty coverage begins on the date of delivery and applies only to the original purchaser. Covered components include the frame, stem, motor(s), battery, controller(s), display, and throttle, provided that the issue is not the result of misuse, neglect, modification, or improper maintenance.
If a valid warranty claim is approved, RoadRunner Scooters will, at its discretion, repair or replace the defective component with a new or refurbished part at no cost for parts and labor. Customers are responsible for any shipping costs associated with sending the product or parts to our service center unless otherwise stated in writing.
Please note: You must keep your original box and packaging for any warranty or non-warranty service returns. If you no longer have your original packaging, we can provide a replacement box; however, you will be invoiced for both the cost of the box and the one-way shipping charge to send it to you. Shipping is billed based on package dimensions rather than weight, and both of these charges will be your responsibility.
How to File a Warranty Claim
If you experience an issue you believe may be covered under warranty, please follow these steps to ensure a smooth process:
- Visit our support webpage at: https://roadrunnerscooters.com/pages/support
- Selelct: Get Started --> Warranty Claims --> Enter contact information
- Attach clear photos or short video clips showing the problem, along with any visible damage or error messages.
- Our service team will review your claim and respond with next steps, including troubleshooting guidance or a return authorization if required.
- Once approved, we will provide instructions for shipping the scooter or part to our service center. Please use your original box and internal packaging materials for protection during transit.
Warranty claims that are approved will be processed as quickly as possible, and in most cases, replacement parts are shipped within 3–5 business days after approval.
Processing Time & Return Shipping
Once your scooter or part has arrived at our service center, please allow 1–2 weeks for inspection, repair, or replacement depending on the availability of parts and service queue volume. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the claim has been specifically approved as a shipping-covered warranty repair. Tracking information will be provided when your item is shipped back to you.
Non-Warranty Service
If your scooter requires repairs or parts that are not covered under warranty, RoadRunner Scooters can still assist you. Our team can help identify the exact replacement parts needed and provide detailed repair guidance when possible.
Customers are responsible for all costs associated with non-warranty service, including parts, labor, and shipping. We do not coordinate or cover shipping for non-warranty repairs. Replacement parts can be purchased directly through our website or through our service team if special-order components are required.
Please remember to retain your original box and internal packaging. If you no longer have them, a replacement box can be provided and invoiced along with one-way shipping to you. Costs are based on package dimensions, not weight.
